The health-industry is mostly different to it’s counterparts. Law regulations are strict and products mostly quite expensive. Getting to know the industry through working in the hospital for a few weeks and different doctors in my environment I realized that organisation and networking between doctors almost didn’t change in the last decades. Running a practice is similar to running a small company: Administrative and bureaucratic works soaks up time that can’t be used to focus on the actual determined occupation: The patient’s health. Medicator is therefore a concept to bring a solution to some of the practicing doctor’s biggest needs: Organisation, communication and technical help.
